These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Mosaic, a personal training application for iOS ("the App") operated by Tristan Louveaux ("we", "us"), based in the United Kingdom. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Mosaic. By using the App you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are legally able to enter into a contract.
You may use Mosaic either as a guest (anonymous account) or by creating an account with your email address. You are responsible for keeping any credentials secure and for activity that takes place on your account. You may delete your account at any time from inside the App.
Before starting any training programme — and especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition, are returning from injury, or are pregnant — you should consult a physician. You alone are responsible for your training decisions and for stopping or modifying any session that does not feel right.
Mosaic does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Mosaic integrates with Strava, Garmin Connect, Apple Health, Supabase, and Anthropic. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. Mosaic is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behaviour of third-party services. If a third-party service changes its terms, withdraws an API, or has an outage, parts of Mosaic may stop working.

The AI Coach is an optional feature. It uses Anthropic's Claude language model to generate responses based on a structured summary of your recent training. AI-generated output is informational and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should not rely on AI Coach output as a substitute for medical, coaching, or professional advice.
The AI Coach has rate limits and usage caps; access may be paused or revoked at any time without notice.
Mosaic, including its name, logo, design, source code, training models, and content, is owned by Tristan Louveaux and protected by copyright and trademark law. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Data you enter or connect to Mosaic remains yours. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process that data solely as required to operate the App for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Mosaic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the App will be compatible with every device or iOS version.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mosaic is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Training advice and predictions are statistical outputs and may not reflect reality for your individual physiology.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, training opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Mosaic. Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in that period, or (b) £50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Mosaic at any time if you breach these Terms, if continued provision would expose us or other users to security or legal risk, or if a third-party service we depend on is withdrawn. You may stop using Mosaic and delete your account at any time.
We may update the App and these Terms. Material changes to the Terms will be flagged in-app. Continued use of Mosaic after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept a change, stop using the App and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you additional rights.
